- Contract: Full-time
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience
- Start Date: Immediate or January 2025
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students in a classroom setting.
- Assist students with learning difficulties and those with special educational needs (SEN).
- Work closely with teachers to implement educational plans and provide tailored support.
- Support student behavior management and promote a positive learning environment.
- Help students with tasks, including reading, writing, and other subject areas.
- Encourage student participation and build confidence in their learning abilities.
- Assist in the development of learning resources and classroom materials.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or in a similar role within a school setting is desirable.
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience working with SEN students is an advantage but not essential.
