A welcoming and 'Outstanding' primary school in Redbridge is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team for the Spring and Summer terms.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support for Year 1 children with autism who have Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans. The role involves:
- Supporting children in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in class activities.
- Running small group interventions focused on speech and language development.
- Assisting the Year 1 class team with general TA support when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly autism.
- Confidence in running speech and language interventions.
- A caring and patient individual with excellent communication skills.
- A team player who is adaptable and proactive in supporting children’s diverse needs.
