The Role:
This brilliant Secondary School in Islington is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them full-time in September. You will be supporting pupils in their learning, ensuring they are able to make excellent progress. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Support teachers in managing student behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school trips.
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and other staff to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Work with SEN students, following Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting materials as needed.
