Riley Personnel is recruiting passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teachers and Design & Technology (DT) Teachers to work in secondary schools.

The Role

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Food Technology or Design & Technology
• Developing students' practical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities
• Supporting students with their academic progress and personal development
• Delivering practical activities in line with curriculum requirements
• Maintaining safe and well-organised classrooms, kitchens or workshops
• Assessing students' work and providing constructive feedback
• Encouraging participation, independence and confidence
• Creating an inclusive learning environment where students can thrive

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
• Specialism in Food Technology or Design & Technology
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching
• Confident classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons
• Organised, proactive and committed to supporting student progress
