We are looking for a skilled and motivated Experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has classroom experience and is passionate about helping children progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
As an Experienced Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and small group interventions. You will provide targeted assistance to pupils who need extra help, ensuring that all learners are included and able to succeed.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and dedicated to creating a positive learning environment. You’ll bring your prior experience and enthusiasm to the classroom, helping to inspire pupils and support the teaching team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons

Work 1:1 and in small groups to raise pupil achievement

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
