Teaching Assistant

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting both teachers and students to create an engaging and positive learning environment. You will:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
• Work with students in small groups and on a one-to-one basis to provide targeted support.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
• Help manage classroom behavior and encourage a positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing lesson materials.

Key Requirements:

• A graduate with a strong academic background OR an experienced Teaching Assistant.
• A passion for education and supporting young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work well within a team and take initiative when required.
• Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in a school environment.
• Previous experience in a school or working with young people is desirable but not essential.
