Behavior Mentor

We’re seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support/Inclusion Mentor to join our team on a temporary basis

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day support to students with behavioural needs

  • Monitor attendance and behaviour, maintaining detailed records on in-house systems

  • Supervise communal areas and support teaching staff with classroom management

  • Carry out safety checks including mobile phone collection and student searches

  • Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation, including physical intervention (if trained)

  • Conduct home visits and liaise with external agencies to ensure student engagement

  • Participate in daily briefings and team meetings to maintain a consistent support approach

What You’ll Need

  • Experience working with young people displaying challenging behaviour

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Physically fit and confident dealing with behavioural incidents

  • High attention to detail when logging and reporting incidents

  • Flexibility, resilience, and a calm, professional approach under pressure
