Riley Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive school in Newham seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students who require additional behavioural, emotional, and social support. Working closely with teachers, pastoral leaders, and the SEN team, you will help pupils overcome barriers to learning, improve their engagement, and develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll provide one-to-one mentoring, deliver targeted interventions, support students during lessons, and help implement personalised behaviour support strategies. You'll build positive relationships with pupils, encourage emotional resilience, promote positive behaviour, and create a safe, structured learning environment where every student can thrive.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, coaching, social care, or behaviour support. It's also an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, social work, or pastoral support, offering invaluable classroom experience and professional development.
