A specialist SEN secondary school supporting students aged 11–19 with complex Speech, Language and Communication Needs is looking for dedicated, patient and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support its day-to-day staffing requirements.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment, helping students access their education and develop their communication, confidence and independence. Responsibilities may include providing one-to-one and small-group support, assisting with classroom activities, encouraging positive behaviour and adapting your approach to meet each student's individual needs.

The school is looking for compassionate and reliable individuals who understand the importance of clear communication, patience and consistency when supporting young people with additional needs. Previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with speech, language and communication difficulties, would be highly beneficial.
