We are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for day to day supply opportunities across a range of schools in Harlow. These roles are ideal for flexible, reliable and enthusiastic individuals who have previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and are passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Successful candidates will support pupils with additional needs both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, assisting with classroom activities, encouraging positive behaviour and helping children develop their confidence, communication and independence. You will work closely with class teachers and other school staff to ensure pupils receive the appropriate support to engage with their learning and make progress.
Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential. Candidates should have a patient, adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and adjust to different classroom environments. Experience supporting pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or communication difficulties would be beneficial.
These day to day assignments offer flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience across different Harlow schools, with the potential for longer-term placements for the right candidates. Whether you are looking for regular supply work or greater flexibility around your availability, these opportunities provide the chance to make a meaningful difference to pupils who need additional support.
