A specialist primary SEN school in West Sussex is seeking a caring, reliable and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide full-time, long-term classroom support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment, helping pupils access their education and develop their confidence, independence and social skills. Responsibilities may include providing one-to-one and small-group support, assisting with classroom activities, supporting individual learning needs and encouraging positive behaviour.

Candidates must have previous experience working in a primary school and supporting children with SEN. The school is looking for patient, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals who can build positive relationships with pupils and provide consistent, compassionate support.

Due to the school's location, candidates must be able to drive and reliably travel to the school each day. Please consider the location and daily commute before applying.
