We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a range of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas for the new academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants as well as graduates, support workers, youth workers and individuals with transferable experience who are passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday
- September start
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Supporting pupils with additional needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement within lessons
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, patient and proactive approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Available to work full-time from September
