A primary SEN school in Kingston is looking for dedicated, patient and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. These opportunities are ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children access their education, develop their confidence and achieve their potential.

You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide classroom assistance and help maintain a safe, positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities may include one-to-one and small-group support, assisting with classroom activities, encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop their communication, social skills and independence.

The school is looking for compassionate, reliable and proactive individuals who can adapt to different situations and build positive relationships with pupils. Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly within a primary school or specialist educational setting, is highly desirable.

Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, initially on a day-to-day or short-term basis. However, there is potential for placements to develop into longer-term positions for the right candidates, depending on the school's requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistants seeking flexible work while potentially securing a longer-term position within a specialist primary school.

If you are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs and can provide patient, consistent support, we would love to hear from you.
